AE501.2‒ Comparative Religious Systems 2: Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course represents COURSE 2 of a 2-course series.
As Christian leaders in today’s world, awareness of the fundamentals of competing religions or cultish deceptions is mandatory. This course provides a sound foundation in the beliefs of the Christian faith as compared to opposing world religions, religious philosophies and cults.
Each belief is authored by an individual authority rather than by a single textbook author. The curriculum includes origin accounts, doctrines, traditions, and strategies to reach the group for Christ. Divided into 3 volumes‒ 1) Counterfeits of Christianity, 2) Moralistic, Mythical, and Mysticism Religions, and 3) Atheist and Humanistic Religions‒ the volumes include nearly 50 faiths.
Students focus on about 20 of them within the 2-course series‒ the rest available for reference. Relevant, fascinating and easy to comprehend.
