AE502‒ Introduction to Christian Apologetics: Description
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
There is a scriptural mandate to “be ready always to give an answer to everyone that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you,” 1 Peter 3:15. This course enables students to address 10 common issues skeptics of Christianity tend to bring up.
The textbook is filled with vital information, yet presented in a clear, straightforward and concise way so that students can easily commit the material to memory. There is enough detail to be interesting, but not so much as to become boring.
The course offers a direct logical approach to defending evidence for God, the existence of Jesus, His claim to divinity, and proof of its reality.

DEPARTMENT: Apologetics & Evangelism
Patty Tunnicliffe
Raised in a traditional, conservative Christian home and blessed by
parents who were dedicated Christians as well as serious students of the Word of God, Patty was taught the core beliefs of Christianity, studied the Bible regularly. But no one taught her why Christianity was true. Eventually, realizing that many Christians were unprepared for the spiritual climate, she felt called to apologetics and earned a MA from Southern Evangelical Seminary. She is a Bible teacher, conference speaker, and former public school teacher.
