This course represents COURSE 1 of a 2-course series using the same 3 textbook volumes.
As Christian leaders in today’s world, awareness of the fundamentals of competing religions or cultish deceptions is mandatory. This course provides a sound foundation in the beliefs of the Christian faith as compared to opposing world religions, religious philosophies and cults.
Each faith is authored by an individual authority rather than by a single textbook author. The curriculum includes origin accounts, doctrines, traditions, and strategies to reach the group for Christ. Divided into 3 volumes‒ 1) Counterfeits of Christianity, 2) Moralistic, Mythical, and Mysticism Religions, and 3) Atheist and Humanistic Religions‒ nearly 50 faiths total.

AE502‒ Introduction to Christian Apologetics
Requirement for MDiv― 3 credits, comfortable. No Prerequisite.
There is a scriptural mandate to “be ready always to give an answer to everyone that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you,” 1 Peter 3:15. This course enables students to address 10 common issues skeptics of Christianity tend to bring up.
The textbook is filled with vital information, yet presented in a clear, straightforward and concise way so that students can easily commit the material to memory. There is enough detail to be interesting, but not so much as to become boring. AE503‒ Defending The Faith With Confidence
Elective for MDiv or DMin― 3 credits, sizable. No Prerequisite.
This course extensively and thoroughly prepares students to give concrete reasons for their faith. Whether called to evangelism or desiring to avoid being caught off-guard, students taking this course are enabled to confidently discuss their faith with others.
