CTSP602‒ Navigating The Pastoral Counseling Process: Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Counseling people in crisis is a significant part of pastoral ministry—requiring careful evaluation, the application of biblical principles, and practical guidance. Many pastors, however, feel unprepared to effectively shepherd their people through difficult circumstances.

While other courses and resources focus on content and advice for resolving specific challenges, this course pulls it all together by emphasizing the process and structure of biblical counseling. It provides church leaders with a practical framework for guiding sessions, from the initial meeting to the final session.

This short and needed course fills in some blanks for students wanting to approach counseling with greater clarity and confidence.
