CTSP604‒ Advanced Engagement in Spiritual Warfare: Description
This course represents the capstone of the spiritual warfare curriculum, moving students from biblical and theological foundations into advanced, hands-on engagement with deliverance ministry. Drawing on Peter Horrobin’s The Practice of Deliverance Ministry, students examine practical methods for conducting deliverance through the local church and in counseling contexts — identifying demonic entry points, understanding how people become affected by demonic powers, and learning step-by-step how to minister freedom to those in bondage. Horrobin further addresses the often-overlooked practice of extending healing and deliverance to the cleansing of land and buildings.
C. Fred Dickason’s Winning the War Through Prayer anchors the course’s engagement in intercessory and spiritual warfare prayer as the believer’s primary offensive weapon. Together, the texts equip students with the discernment, skill, and biblical confidence to lead others into freedom — responsibly, wisely, and under the full authority of Christ.

Peter Horrobin
Peter Horrobin is the Founder and International Director of Ellel Ministries. Originally established in 1986 as a ministry of healing for the north-west of England, the work so grew that within a short time there were centers all over the world. By 2017 the work was established in over thirty different countries and students who have trained with Ellel Ministries are working on every continent and in well over fifty different countries. Horrobin is a graduate of Oxford University and authored numerous books.

C. Fred Dickason, Th.D. earned his Doctor of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He served on the faculty of Moody Bible Institute for 34 years as professor and chairman of the Theology Department. Regarded as one of the world’s foremost authorities on angelology and demonology, Dickason was named Outstanding Educator in America and received the Faculty Citation Award from the Moody Alumni Association. A member of the Evangelical Theological Society, he contributed articles to the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society and Moody Monthly.
