Rev Dr Raymond T Franklyn

Raymond is a resilient minister, educator, and prophetic trainer whose life and ministry have been shaped by both profound trial and triumphant deliverance.

A survivor of a 15-month spiritual oppression, his insight into depression and suicidal ideation is extensive—and his spiritual optimism, contagious. His firsthand understanding of spiritual warfare has brought encouragement and freedom to many.

Following his instantaneous deliverance, Raymond began ministry training, ultimately earning both an M.Div. and a D.Min. from Shalom Bible College and Seminary.

Together with his wife, he co-pastored Spirit of Hope Christian Church and earlier ACTS Fellowship International, an inner-city outreach. The two also served as Teaching Ministers at Living Hope Bible Church—an African-American congregation.

Through Max Ministries—founded by the couple two decades ago—they have launched Ignite Prophetic Ministry Teams across several churches.

Raymond was commissioned by the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary to serve as a Chaplain and Captain in the Civil Air Patrol and also served as chaplain of an inner-city resource center.

Before entering full-time ministry, he owned several small businesses and served six years on the Advisory Council to the Colorado Attorney General on Consumer Credit. His compassion for those in need is reflected in his B.A. in Sociology from Western Colorado University and in his years of advocacy on behalf of veterans, ex-offenders, the homeless, and those in recovery.

Son of a local music celebrity, Raymond is also an accomplished jazz and gospel drummer who brings rhythm, passion, and authenticity to every facet of his ministry. He served on a Colorado Ski Patrol and holds a current Emergency Medical Training certificate.
